HER PILLOW is a project that mixes two very different cultures and musical styles. On one hand the ballads and the folk-songs of Ireland with progressions and sounds peculiar to celtic music On the other hand the violent, even if sometime thoughtful, impact of 80's rock, based on electric guitar, bass and drums. The outcome is an overwhelming cascade of sounds that finds its higher expression in live performances, when restless reels alternate with dissonant and pining love-songs and when the public becomes necessarily part of the show. HER PILLOW always try to evolve their music: the first references to the Pogues, Tom Waits or to the Clash are now fading in a new sound and style that brings folk-music into the groove of a punk-rock band. The desire to express and create different emotions will never end because if it were so HER PILLOW would sing their last song.	"HER PILLOW" è un progetto musicale che unisce due stili ben diversi per cultura e per caratteristiche. Da una parte le ballate e le canzoni popolari di Irlanda con le progressioni e le sonorità tipiche della musica celtica. Dall'altra parte l'impatto violento anche se a tratti intimista del rock degli anni '80, fondato su basso chitarra e batteria. Il risultato è una travolgente cascata di suoni che trova la sua massima espressione nella dimensione live, dove reels indiavolati si alternano a struggenti e dissonanti canzoni d'amore e dove il pubblico diviene necessariamente parte dello spettacolo. La musica degli HER PILLOW è sempre stata in movimento: i primi riferimenti ai Pogues, a Tom Waits, ai Clash si sono diluiti e sono stati assimilati in uno stile e in un sound che su un organico punk-rock innesta l'immediatezza della musica popolare. Il desiderio di esprimere e di creare emozioni diverse non si esaurirà mai perché se così fosse gli HER PILLOW scriverebbero il loro ultimo verso. Auf der eine Seite die Balladen und Folksongs Irlands mit der fùr die keltische Musik typischen Klängen und Melodien. Auf der anderen Seite der violente, wenn auch streckenweisc intimistische Einfluß des Rock der 80 Jahre mit Betonung auf Baß, Gitarre und Schlagzeug. Das Ergebnis ist ein mitreißendes musikalisches Feuerwerk das seinen höchsten Ausdruck bei den Live-Auftritten findet, bei denen sich wirbelnde Reels mit melancholisch-romantischen, dissonanten Liebeslieden abwechseln und bei denen das Publikum zwangslaüfig zum Teil der Show wird. Die Musik der HER PILLOW befindet sich immer in einem Zustand der Entwicklung: die anfänglichen Anspielungen auf die Pogues, Tom Waits und The Clash sind verblichen und sind Teil eines Stils und eines Sounds geworden, der die Unmittelbarkeit der Volksmusik mit Punkrock paart. Das Begehren, immer neue Emotionen auszudrücken und zu schaffen, wird immer die treibende Kraft der HER PILLOW sein, denn sollte es verlöschen, hätten die HER PILLOW ihren letzten Vers geschrieben.
